Why is it Republican have to resign but not Democrats?
Will Kennedy hit and run? Bill Jefferson with the cash in the freezer? Gary Studds physical relationship with a Page?

Delay resigns for campaign finance. Foley resigns for inappropriate e-mails with page.

They were all wrong, but I'm shocked at the blatant shrugging off of crimes by Democrats. Shouldn't they all go?

You bet. The double standard is amazing. Now Nancy Pelosi says that all Republicans are responsible for Foley's perversion. Does that mean that she's responsible for Barney Frank running a gay prostitution ring out of his house? If so, she should resign.

Nothing says that anyone has to resign. But when you are a part of the party that claims "moral superiority", I think that a scandal such as these is much more damaging, and much harder to "sweep aside" with some good PR.

Moral to this story: Never claim to be morally superior to another where politicians are involved. . .

Yes, I agree. But the dems who did it admitted it, and thats the difference here. In fact one of them served 42 months in jail for it. What Hastert did was cover for someone who he knew was a pedophile. How would you feel if your son was a page and was in danger of beng solicited by Foley?
