And I'm sure he's happy that he blocked all that legislation approving gay marriage.

Not at all surprised. It's been obvious that he's gay for many years, he even dropped out of a previous candidacy when rumors about him being gay swirled. Nothing wrong with him being gay -- HUGE problem with him being a pedophile and child molester. Also I have a HUGE problem with the fact that he flat-out lied (he denied being gay many times) just to get elected, because he knew a gay republican could never get elected.
So, republicans, this is the kind of people you elect: liars, child molesters, pedophiles. Add "Duke" Cunningham: you're also electing lying, bribe-taking, corrupt idiots.

Note the common thread in those two guys: Foley railed publicly against pedophiles, and was on the congressional caucus to protect children...and he was a pedophile and child molester. Cunningham was on the ethics committe, railed publicly against "pork" spending and undue influence by contributors...then he took bribes, got the bribers government contracts, and even added their projects to spending bills when the agency that was supposed to use the project (the Pentagon) didn't even want it.

Those who decry something the loudest are very often hiding the very thing they decry.

If you'd get off the lib lefty websites you might learn something.
Per AP/Reuters and other news services posted around the world..... President George W. Bush said on Tuesday he was disgusted by former Republican Rep. Mark Foley's sexual messages to teen-age boys.
"I was dismayed and shocked to learn about Congressman Foley's unacceptable behavior,"
I was disgusted by the revelation, and disappointed that he would violate the trust of the citizens who placed him in office," Bush said.
He said he supported Hastert's call for an investigation by law enforcement into the Foley case.

Look I'm a life long Democrat and I tried to be happy about this but the truth is the reason gay people stay in the closet is because of fear that they will be outcast and shunned as for the instant messages that takes two and at 16 the boy was aware of the situation and kept talking as long as there was no fiscal contact . what bothered me was the way republicans attacked him these people were supposed to be his friends now you know why he stayed in the closet.

Hey, at least Republicans' hypocrisy is as massive and disastrous as everything else they've done. They are consistent - gotta give 'em that.
