I remember my mom, who was a nurse, telling me one time that, yeah, they do. only their perception of people, colors, objects are different than sighted people.

If you've never seen a carrot, then you wouldn't visualize a a carrot the same way a person who has seen them.

Howdy Bill W,
Blind people do "see", But, not in the way that sighted people "see", They use their touch, smell, hearing, and believe or not.... heat percepetion. I was once asked to interpret a dream for a young girl who was born blind. She related her dream to me in much the same way that a sighted person would. So, I suspect that a blind person can scan objects and shapes with their hands and other senses in much the same way that a computer could scan an object and store it in its memory. The human brain has a huge storage capacity and can "compute" far faster than the fastest computer. Remember, we "humans" are only using about 10% of our brain.

No,the dreams are just audio dreams, they just hear they don't know what seeing is.At the same time their hearing is much more sensitive and so the dreams are supposed to have the same quality as the dreams of "regular healthy" people.

cleary not. if they are born blind then they probably never even developed vision in the womb so dont even know what light is. but if they lost vision before birth then its possible they have dreams of light at early stages

Very good question... I believe that the mind is very powerful and mysterious. It's capable of many things...so in my opinion, I believe that they do, sometimes.
