that question is an unnecessary burden for man, because there is no "meaning" to life just the experience of it. there is no great expectation for any given form of life, just enjoy the time you have and do the best you can to make it what you want it to be.

What does your question mean to you and how deep and open minded are you as to the answers that you will get?Variety is considered the spice of life ,but what variety?As humans we seem to have the right of election in our actions and do not live for being a positive example for each other,our own selfishness and instant gratifications,as much as we make we do not share and the feeling of futility against a World of unjust people even the strictest of laws seems to make them seems as slippery as silk,even if you do not believe in God humans have tried every type and kind of kingdom and type of Government and they all have failed to provide the true meaning of life and the sustenance thereof ,as for our care of our environment,we do such a bad job as to the maintenance of it that we seem to shorten our own existence and future.With wars on the rise nations against nations we are bent on ignoring all the telltale signs of a higher purpose for living,and indulge in all kinds of pleasures as we numb our sensitivity that comes naturally challenging yourself to work against these elements and finding the real purpose of your creator is an answer in the right direction to your question.,do the math.
