How about a nice romantic dinner? Where do you live? Could you go somewhere by a lake or waterside? Dining in the evening by water is very romantic.

If you are looking for a gift, hmmm. I have an idea-
When my husband and I first started dating, we didn't have much money either. For Christmas, he used his imagination and bought me several small gifts. One for each of the senses-

1) For taste- a small box of chocolate (a Whitman sampler with 4 pieces)
2) For hearing- a tape of my favorite classical piece of music- Vivaldi's 4 Seasons
3) For touch- some nice hand lotion
4) For smell- a small bottle of perfume/Cologne.

You could do something like that! :)

Have nice Sweetest Day!

Better yet, plan something out with the $50 budget. a dinner or something really sweet. the best things in life are free. a picnic or some kind of outing where you both get to interact rather than just sit and watch a movie. you wont blow your spending limit and it will be much sweeter.

It's more than 50 bucks but if there is any way you could get him a 1969 Camaro SS, with the L-78 396, Big Block, then do it.
And, if you think that it's the thought that counts, all I can say is
GET REAL BIT** !
