I have a cousin who lives in fresno, CA her husband conffesed to her after 20 years of marriage that he wants out. he also has a lover. He is demanding that she and there 3 kids get out of the house sell it so he can get his share Can he so this? what can she do ?

Its called child support. She can also go after the woman and have her sited for breaking up her marriage if she has any info on her. The judge will make him walk away from the house...

Confessions are great things. I heard that they can free the sole. And in this case maybe submittable in court. She has the kids and he cheated all she needs is one angry lawyer. I would sell my house however i would inform him that it is cheaper to keep me. She should get proof of this great lover. And she should file divorce on the grounds of abandonment. Of his affection for her and the kids. And good lawyer will get an Oscar for the performance with this one. As for him getting his share, I would milk him like a cow. but first get the proof... and check the Internet for the laws in Fresno for cheaters

Your cousin needs to get legal advice. Where I am living it has laws attached to such problems. Let her seeks the advice of a lawyer, today ,before its too late. He is a mad man, he has no feeling for his dear children, he is far gone. The new lover will get her share of the pie soon. Let her continue her life by seeking the faith of God and he will see her through, the good book says that weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.

CA law is great, have her stay in the house with the kids and get him out. old saying possession is 9/10 of the law. She is able to get a lot out of this cause he broke the vows and CA still sides with her on this one. She should be able to keep the house and the kids and get a pay ck out of him. She deserves it to. If things are as simple as you put them.

She don't have to do Jack, he can't kick her out of the house. She pretty much holds the all the cards, have her talk to an attourney. Not only will she get half of everything, but some serious child support. Her husband is a moron!

She can get him for child support, and also go after the home wrecker woman and have her sited for breaking up her marriage. And she shouldn't leave the house cause it will become hers if she is left with the kids.The judge will make him get out of the house.

Just a guess because I am not a lawyer or anything, but first your cousin needs to get a lawyer (pro-Bo no) that means if she don't win the lawyer don't win either. She can fight for it all. I believe she can get child support Alimony and the house if her lawyer is good enough.

What a stupid stupid little man. He cannot make her do anything.She needs a lawyer immediately, and her and the children have to go no where.Have him removed from the house and send him to his lover she deserves him, she will get hers in the end..........

She needs to consult an attorney ASAP. I don't believe that he can force her and their children to leave the home, but that should be the first question she asks of the attorney.
He has to support his children and she definately needs to get to an attorney yesterday.
