Makeup for girls with glasses?

Question

I have brown eyes, and brown rectangular rimmed glasses. I was wondering if there are any tips out there to make my eyes stand out?

I work for a cosmetic company, and I also wear glasses. You are actually at an advatage wearing glasses because you can make your eyes pop because the first thing people will notice about you is your eyes/glasses. For brown eyes, you can wear almost any color, but with brown eyes and brown glasses, shy away from intense browns. If you wish to wear browns, pair them with blues and purples. Also, using an eye shadow base will also help give your shadows some more pop, because it will prevent the shadows from smudging and creasing. One idea that you might try is washing some shadow base in the same color family that you wish to use over your lids and into the crease (Lets go with green....I think your eyes will pop out through your glasses with a shimmery dark green). Let it set up a bit, and work a pink into the crease and up, slightly below your brow. Use a brown liner from the outer corners of your eyes and end toward the the middle of your eye. Curl your lashes and use a primer and finish with your favorite mascara. The products I love are Clinique's Lucky Penny eye shadow, Lancome's Cils Booster (primer) and L'Extreme mascara. Avoid waterproof because it will dry faster in the tube as well as dry your lashes out. Be sure to keep your eyes hydrated and use a moisturizing make up remover (I love Lancome's Bi Facil eye makeup remover). I hope this helps!!!

Use liner. I like the Bobby Brown gel liner. It's $18 for the pot of liner and $18 for the brush, but it lasts you a year and a half. And the brush is reusable, too.
You can also do eyeshadow, but be real careful. The best way is to do your eyes in neutral tones and not overdo it. The glasses will help your eyes stand out anyway.

I wear more dramatic eye makeup with my glasses. The great thing is, you can go a little crazy and get away with it. Definitely use black mascara and eyeliner in a dark shade to bring them out. bright/bold/funky eyeshadow should definitely be applied a just little beyond your normal eye crease to make them look even bigger.

Wear glasses all my life. Wear make up as usually. Use mascara to bring out eyelashes, get any color of eyeliner u want to use. I have use black to blue to purple to green depending on mood and what i was wearing. U can put any style of eye shadow u want to. Just remember if u bringing out the eyes, lighter lips. If u bring out lips, lighter eyes. Most guys think my eyes are sexy. Have fun!

i think pretty much any color eyeshadow other than brown would help them stand out more. maybe a lavender-y color. eyeliner and mascara help, too. but i'd curl my eyelashes to make my eyes pop more than just mascara would...

i wear glasses too, so i'm kinda speaking from experience...

i wear glasses too
try some kind of "bold" eyeshadow
like teal, gold, silver, greens, blues, just dont cover your "whole" eye (all the way up to your eyebrow), just put the shawdow on your eyelid
i would not use any different eyeliner, except black

black mascara,black eyeliner(not liquid or the pencil,,get NYC soft stick) and light colored eyeshadow(white or pink)but only put eye shadow on your eyelid,dont put it above that,and make sure u put eyeliner under your eye and on your eyelid....or just get contacts and then wear that stuff cuz i just got contacts,and they are really comfy..cuz sometimes the glasses take away from the makeup....but ya know....do whatcha want...GOOD LUCK!!

Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler and add mascara to make your eyes appear larger and more open.

hmm dont know . maybe u could change the shape of your glasses or the colore or something like that . if you wear mascara or eyeliner it might smudge on ur glasses.

definitely use eyeliner and mascara!!! I wore glasses my whole life and i look back on high school when i wore them and realized that my eyes seemed invisible...wear eyeliner!!!! it will make them stand out!!!
