My screen is just a picture. It has no words, no questions, nothing else. Is that normal?

No it is not. Try starting ur computer up agian repeditly taping f8 (this will active your computer in safe mode) after you have done this it may be able to detect if you have some type of virus. If this does not work consolt a computer specialist.
