He did the right thing and resigned. Something Democrats should look into

Furthermore, who keeps 3 year old IM messages? Head scratcher

I'm glad to see all the homosexual bashing from the "party of acceptance and tolerance"

I also remember that when Clinton had his scandal "oh jeez sex is personal"
The page was 16. Age of consent in DC, 16. Doesn't matter, this is different. And of course Clinton's totally different, because Monica was 19, and we ignored Studds altogether. What is there to disagree with about? Notice that they do not tackle the point that made that the Democrats do not find this behavior repugnant. That was the point that I'm making. They don't find what Foley did repugnant, and he just admitted, what Clinton did, no big deal, Clinton and Monica, that's everything said here is true. The Democrats circle the wagons, hey, it's private matter, hey, it's only about sex, hey, it didn't affect the way he did his job.

I see you did not fail to take your idiot pill this morning. When you make accusations like this you should be slightly informed.

Any republican I've seen or read about in the past day has denounced the Foley debacle.

Now, Here's a couple for you: Gerry Studds, White House staff convicted of sexual relations with a page.
David Giles, Convicted of child rape. Both democrats. And, let's not forget about those democrats convicted or censured for sexual harassment or abuse: Barney Frank and Mel Reynolds

Need more? Ask a stupid question again.

Several Republicans have denounced Foley's actions. Do you listen to the news? Even CNN has reported Pres. Bush's comments, the Speaker of the House, and several other republican congressman. What is the point in pretending that the Republican Party is responsible or proud of Foley? We are not. Just as the Democrats shouldn't be pleased when a prominent member of their organization breaks ethical and/or moral laws.

What about all the scandals with the democratic people in both the senate and congress?? Anytime you have 435 men together there are sure to be some nut cases spread among them. Do not blame the party for the weakness of the individual. How about how the Kennedy clan behaved not to mention good old slick Clinton. He has more negatives in his closet than the rest of them combined. Learn to recognize when things are being manipulated like the dummycrats are doing in desperation because their candidates are so lackluster.

I see you're a nice ol lap dog for the demoncraps. There's calls for this pervert to resign, and there is expressed outrage. The guy should do prison time too. Just because he's taking the latest play from the Democrat playbook and claiming to be an alcoholic. Just because he's checked himself into rehab he should not get a pass like Patrick J. Kennedy (D) who got a pass because he's related to Teddy (Chappaquiddick and Drunk) Kennedy.

Both parties are corrupt, yet these liberals rant and rave about "the party of corruption" and we haven't heard much about Rep. William Jefferson's (D-LA) little $90,000 stash of illegal bribe money, have we?

Oh... and everyone including the Demoncraps knew about this as far as a year ago. The reason it's just now coming out is because of the upcoming elections. Fancy that one.

If he were a democrat the thunder in the jungle would have ceased promptly----just watch and see---most of the time that is what the media does----mentions the news blog in passing and on to other matters (no matter how small) if same thing happens to the left the drums resound relentlessly------now that i have drawn this to your attention just watch it and see-------remember when president carter was fishing and a rabbit or squirrel or something alarmed the secret service agents???? the media beat the drums for days and days and days------this was shortly after his election to office----the media never let up and in effect contributed to his then lame duck administration-----now if he were one of their chosen ones like bill or hillary---i guarantee you they would have spoken of them only in glowing terms.

You are generalising, which is always a bad idea. I think a lot of Republicans are scandalised by the actions of this man. Those that knew and kept it under wraps do not necessarily represent the majority. Those that know now are shocked and disgusted. Don't paint everyone with the same brush. I think the majority would say that they disapprove of his actions AND the coverup.

Republicans have supported bans on marijuana for some years to be "not common on crime". each and every of the states that have comfortable marijuana rules are blue states. I say, in case you're against marijuana, you will desire to additionally be against alcohol, that's lots extra risky than pot. people who smoke marijuana are harmless, people who abuse alcohol are lots lots extra services to violence and vehicle injuries.
