I'm getting tired of the damn chicken waking me up in the morning with it's cock a doodle do and was wondering if it would be ok to BBQ the chicken as a surprise dinner for her and myself.

Chickens don't crow "Cock a doodle doo" . Roosters are the ones that crow at the crack of dawn. It's hard to kill something when you can't even identify it correctly in the first place.

Sounds YUMMY. Let coals burn down, throw the chicken on the pit. After 15 minutes, flip every 10-12 mins until skin is golden brown. Add desired sauce amount on final 2 turns. SMOKIN'

Heck no! I love the sound of chickens... it's very comforting . You can actually get used to it. It will be like music to your ears.
Unfortunately someone threatened our neighbor and he got rid of all his chickens. I actually envy you.... and I'm not even kidding.... It's because my uncle had a poultry and at one point one of my aunts kidnapped us kids from our very abusive babysitter (our parents were overseas).... she hid us at the poultry.... we slept there that night.... this is why I love all the sounds chickens make.

no! If you care about your girlfriend, then you don't kill her pets, even if its a chicken! How rude! You shouldn't kill someones pet because its annoying. :(
