Seemingly everyone in the UK thinks President Blair has outstayed his welcome, apart from Tony himself. Much as I dislike the idea of copying America, I have to say that their fixed term of Government and fixed period of political campaigning is a fantastic idea. There is none of this calling of an election when the sun is out, twisitng policy to suit your timing, handing out favourable things at a budget to your disenchanted voters, just an election every four years. How do we the voters get our deomcratically elected representitives to agree with us and change it?

Only one way I'm affraid, and thats to build an army and storm parliament. But with the laws we have on fire-arms and recent changes in the laws on terrorism e.t.c. as well as a tendency towards apathy in the british population, I doubt it will ever happen. Maybe we should just have a revolution every few years(when we have some nice weather in the summer).

You could paint this slogan on your back and strip naked on the X factor but otherwise just keep hammering away asking this question on Yahoo questions.
