When my son was about 18 months old he threw my keys into the toilet and 6 months later you could finally see the tip of a key. Then when he was 10 he dropped my keys down a sewer.

I'm guessing you had this happen to you recently. It has happened to me a few times, and I get extremely stressed out about it. But, I think it's not really a disaster in most cases, and the keys can be replaced pretty easily. It's probably more embarrassment than anything else.

I accidently locked my boyfriend's keys in his car. Needless to say I wasn't the most cherished girlfriend that day....

Hasn't happened to me, but my mom locked her keys in her van so many times that AAA started charging her for their 'free' service.
