I'm in Navy... and traveling all around the world has its perks, but downfalls too. Seeing the customs and the way others live are worth fighting for our liberties. We take for granted for a lot of what we have within the household, the basics- like soap, cups, etc.. Our ancestors chose to break away from the tyrant ways of dictorship to make this land free- our grandfathers fought during the World Wars- and having the opporunity to speak with a few of them, the experience was vivid- you can see it in their faces they were fighting to keep this country the way it was. And we today- although war is the only badness we hear, many and difficult polical decissions are made each day for each and every one of us. Not every decission is the best one or to fit all- but it's the democracy of having a choice. This is pretty much a country that anyone can start a life and suceed. Just having to wake each morning knowing I'm doing something to maintain this freedom - is what keeps me going.

The freedom that we Americans have is a precious thing. The American form of government is the only one like it in existence, in it we are guaranteed the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If some Americans are lazy and do not reach for their dreams that is their choice...But if an American does want to pursue their dreams he has the Freedom to chase after whatever those dreams are and if chases hard enough he will achieve those dreams. And the government can't take them away... just tax them.

Under this administration: not a damn thing.
Don't get me wrong, I love this country and I know that it is a hell of a lot better place to live than most other countries, but Bush has burned this country and the American spirit to the ground.
