I'm looking for instrumental Christmas music that is peaceful, warm, and unobtrusive, something that could be played as background music in an office setting or at a small dinner party. I prefer guitar music, but am open to all thoughtful suggestions.

Thank you :)

Hi there!
One of my favourite instrumental Christmas CD's is,"A Guitar For Christmas" by Liona Boyd. It's pretty mellow.

I am a huge fan of the Windham Hill "Winter Solstice" collections. Very mature, sophisticated instrumentals. My faves are III and IV.

Tuck Andress (of Tuck & Patti) has a great one called "Carols, Hymns and Songs about Snow" that would fit the bill also, if you just want guitar.

Harry Connick Jr has at least one that i've heard, it's quite nice, but it's not all instrumental.

Mannheim Steamroller has several Christmas CD's...most of which are instrumental and quite good.
