In my opinion, I would have to say it is because of all the anger they bottle up inside of themselves.Which is plain foolishness in the first place because if you think of it why do most people drink and drug?To have a good time,Right? Well if they would stop to think if they would stop dwelling on the negative so much maybe they could have a good time anytime."I think therefore I am." If they think miserable thoughts they will be miserable.That's the way it works.So in short,They are so miserable they want everyone else just as miserable.It will surely be our end.May God Bless You.

Because they have personal problems and issues at home or work and want to take it out on other people also people have dieases, or sick etc so they take their anger out on each other. if they aint happy then they dont want you to be happy either!
