Would taxes increase and what would be some consequences with that law being in effect???

Women canalso be Chemically castrated as well, or surgically, the drug that they would use for the males is Depo-Provera which is used by women as a birth control shot...but women would have to have their ovaries surgically removed.....

Taxes would most definitely be increased. I can think of the following consequences: The person COULD be innocent. I'm not saying there aren't sickos out there, I'm just saying there is a slim possibility of innocence. The person could have a horrible reaction to the castration and sue the state for their eternal suffering. True their victim will suffer forever as well, but this can cause a problem. The sex offender is a woman. Now what? The sex offender is from another country. Another problem.

As much as I would love nothing more than for sex offenders to rot, I'm just being a realist here and posing possibilities.

Chemical castration generally ends up in suicide. Many pedophilia circumstances have a recommendations tumor that when bumped off gets rid of the ordinary habit. slightly intelligence could be suitable for this way of comfortable situation.

I think only the violent ones should have such strong measures used on them, theres a big difference between a repeat child molester and some poor schmuck who looked at a pretty girl the wrong way and got slapped with sexual harassment suit, either way you get labeled as a sex offender.

It would definitely increase the taxes because government uses any excuse it can to do so but in the long run wouldn't it help lower the abuse because they wouldn't be breeding more of them. For my vote why do it chemically.

That would be a good thing, even if bleeding hearts are against it (should we include them too?).
Short of that....how about putting them all on al island somewhere? Where they can do whatever they want to each other. We could even send some bleeding hearts there to watch what is going on.

There would be the bleeding hearts crying about cruel and unusual punishment, and that they can be cured (though studies and statistics state otherwise). But if that were the penalty, and it remained in effect, I would pay the higher taxes. . .

Wouldn't happen due to 8th Amendment.

Plus, women can become sex offenders, too.
