The curser will move but has no power to do anything, I have to restart the computer to continue, please help. Also why won't my score window stay open while playing the game? I luv euchre....

If you are trying to keep score window open that might be part of your problem,close any windows or programs you are not using.
Next do this;increase your memory by..going to start button,settings, control panel,system, advance tab,performance,advance tab,virtual memory,change,make it 526kb or higher,click apply then ok. Keeping PC defragged, and running CCleaner (free from filehippo.com ) this utility really works fast i use it all day long.defragging every 4 hours works great also,really helps with speed.if done this often it takes about 2 minutes.if you have neglected
doing it,it will take awhile.try adding more RAM=memory,to your PC extra cards are only about $25. per 128 kb.

have faith it or no longer - I performed this approximately 3 wks in the past @ a buddies homestead. they're from up north a techniques, around Indy - so as that they play it each and every of the time up there. Down here in southern Indiana, esp around EVV, the sport is Clabber - it is analogous to Euchre in that we use a million/2 a pinochle deck & capture "tricks" - this is a close-by ingredient, too. Euchre is a huge sport, tho - i like it. <---- Hoosier card-participant
