as stated above, computer viruses cannot damage ram - in fact they can't damage ANY hardware, they only mess up software and/or windows.

do a virus scan or have someone that knows computers fix it.

Umm...damaged RAM caused by a virus? RAM is hardware, not software and therefore cannot possibly be damaged by a virus. Are you sure it's the RAM thats bad?

actually viruses can harm hardware by causing overclocking which sets the voltage of the motherboard to a terrible high? but i doubt it would do anything to RAM.

Run and antivirus progarm to heal your PC ...you can get a free one ...www.avg4free.com.

if you already have one and your ram is permanently damaged ...you'll have to replace the ram ....get it at staples, office depot, office max...etc.

Um.... A virus won't hurt your ram, if your ram itself is broken then all you can do it buy another stick.
