I have two costumes I want to sell ( a pumpkin and bear ) that my two year old has worn before. He only wore them once (duh ) and they were kind of expensive. Will a second hand store give me a good deal or is EBay my best bet? Any personal experiences?

I would guess eBay. You get the exposure to millions of people and they pay the shipping. You can set the minimum bid so you can't lose - unless of course your price is unrealistic. And also, if the items don't sell you'll still have time to sell them to a consignment store.

My feeling is Ebay would yield the best results if you take really cute photos of them and get them on there right away, as Halloween is coming soon. You have to mail them right away once you have sold them, in time for the event, though.

Second hand stores would mark them low to move them out, and you would only get a small percentage of them.

y dont u try the second hand store first & see how much they gonna say then if u dont like it, u can try ebay. trying the second hand store first gives u some kinda market price, so u can set ur price easily when u try on ebay.

your best bet would be to have a yard sale ebay would take a while and second hand stores rip you off but a yard sale guarentees all the profilt goes to you and it sells fast and you have the money in your hand in no time

You could probably get more at eBay, because people usually bid high prices there.

E-bay! And take photos of yourself wearing them. If you are as hot as I screen name says you know some creepy old man will buy it even if he is going trick-or-treating!

E-Bay ......is my vote...you can choose your own price and if it doesn't sell ...you still have it.
