What is the relevance of a beautifully decorated sacred text versus a normal print or today's electronic version of the Koran?

Everything is changed to fit society

So a decorated sacred text signifies age --Where it originated from. The hardwork ..etc It has a different meaning --

Who wants to be "normal"-- Something that is so sacred should stand out --not be normal
