Use what the doc gave you. After it clears up try using a little skin bleaching cream. I have bad acne scars & have been noticing them fadding slowly away. What ever you do don't touch the pimple!! Dont think about touching it & if you do, make sure your hands & face are clean & use a tissue. For me squezzing it just made it worse, especially when it wasn't ready. I wouldn't recommend a scrub. That might irritate your skin & make it worse. How is your diet? Ask the doc what vitimans would help.

It's called cystic acne... especially if it hurts. I'm sure any drug store or store you mentioned has a product such as Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, Biore, etc. However, those don't often work. I would recommend going to a dermatologist and getting a subscription for something that is specifically for your type of skin and that would work much faster and be much more effective. Good luck!

It's called post-inflammatory pigment. It's what is left after a big pimple goes away. There's nothing great to make it go away. It just takes time, and it can take up to 6 months, but it's not a zit so don't pick at it or anything!

Visine does get the red out!! Im serious. It works.... put some visine on the end of some Q Tips and freeze them. Hold them on your red spots and it really seems to help. The combo of the cold and the Visine! I hope this works for you!

use a powder that is a shade or to lighter than your skin, aply it just to the red area with a q-tip. then use your regular shade over that. this helps in 2 ways , it helps to mask the redness till th eblemish is gone and it also helps to dry it out so it goes away quicker.

the spot that a pimple leaves behind is called hyperpigmentation. you can get rid of it with a lightening lotion, like AcneFree scar lotion, which you can get at any of the stores you mentioned.
