I think it is because some people have mental problems

The three within the last week targeted only the female students. There are different reasons for every shooting I'm sure. It's so sad...I'm in University and it's been in the back of my mind quite a bit recently that this stuff can happen anywhere.

Very few people are killing kids in schools, when it happens, because of the rarity of it , it is shocking but these are people in a society which allows a gun culture. Put a gun in the hands of somebody who is mentally unstable he does not become just another suicide but a suicide with bizarre celebrity and other people suffer along with his tortured soul.
My heart and love goes to the families of those poor little victims who never deserved such tragedy nor pain.

when you look at the total there are not a lot of people killing, just the perverts and killers that are not locked up the first time they get in trouble!!this is also copycats?idiots who crave attention or have a bolt loose to begin with??what is the answer??pray, and keep your eyes and ears open and be vigilant!!

Because the killers enjoy killing kids because they can get things their way easily, by killing them and kids are very vulnerable and always the best victims.

Because we are fighting terrorists over there instead of on the home soil. If the schools had oil reserves the republicans might be more concerned with their safety.

Because it is glorified on the news. People who shoot others in school shootings are looking for attention. They get it when these crimes are committed. The media has no clue as to what they are doing.

Kids are defenseless. Plus when they psychos see it on tv they are just mindless twits who have nothing better to do then to copycat them.

the world is going to hell in a hand basket, these people are evil, , it is very sad to think the world is this bad there are 5 dead littles grils dead now all we can do is pray for there parents.

copycats of columbine or:
mentally disturrbed+gun=a scary situation that could have avoided if that person got mental help.
