I have a JumpDrive and my computer runs on Windows 98. My computer will not run my JumpDrive or anything. I need to update my USB port so I can access valuable information. Can anyone tell how I can update my USB port? Do I need to download something, buy something or what? I am at a loss!!!!! Please help!!!!!!!!

Did the jump drive come with a CD? IF so the windows 98 driver will be on there. If not, you need to find the website belonging to the manufacturer and look for support, they will have the driver somehwhere available for you to download.

If you are on windows 98 the jump drive driver probably needs to be installed. You should have gotten some software with it and some installation instructions. If your usb ports are working with other usb devices you dont need to update any usb crap!

You may need to download a new driver from the manufacturer of the jump drive. Go to their web site, Im sure that will give you more info.
