My dog is hairy, smells bad, sticks his tongue in my ear all the time, is constantly going to take a pee, demands my attention, insists that I feed him, always wants to "go out", whines and barks at all hours, doesn't get along with the neigbors, and is generaly pretty much worthless. Ditto for the wife. On the other hand, my wife doesn't crap in the yard. On the other hand, my dog is cheap and easy maintenance. What a choice. What a choice. Or should I just get a lizard and be done with them both? But I do like my dog.

I have found that dogs are like women.
If you feed them, take them out a lot and give them a bone every now and then, they are happy.
And my dog is the same way.
I just wish my dog liked chasing balls as much as my wife did.

Ever think that with your personality, that you aren't going to have to make that choice, because she'll make it for you!! A real woman wouldn't put up with a guy that says stuff about her like that. A marriage is suppose to be an intimate physical and emotional relationship, where two people grow in love and trust and understanding with one another. If you have this attitude about your wife, you are destroying what a marriage is supposed to be. Try growing with your wife, not making her the enemy or a joke to laugh about to connect with your fellow guys on. What kind of a life is that?!?! You might think you got it good, saying this kind of sh*t, but true happiness comes from growing with her. Have her be your best freind, your companion, your person that is always there for you that you can rely on nomatter what, and be that right back for her. Marriage is no joke!! If you treat it like one, you have no right being married, and she deserves someone better!!

I think your wife has a better chance of getting over losing your relationship with her over some time and she'll be okay. Where are you going send your dog? If you let him loose he'll just come back go to bedroom window and howl a sad, sad howl. Then when you go to leave your house he'll go to the front and howl some more and jump up on you and howl "I rove rou, I rove rou!" You never know how somebody else might treat him.

personally, thats sad...I think you should go with your wife...if you are going to say you love someone, but then leave them for a dog...wow, thats all I have to say. A dog cant't help you with persona problems...there is so much more a dog CAN NOT do that a wife can that will make you happy. A dog sure as hell isn;t going to remember your birthday, or the day you got it (annaversary)
