My wife figures I do so an average of 6 times a day. Just want to see if I'm in the norm.

holy cow, you must be a wonderful man! my husband NEVER compliments me. NEVER EVER. It makes me feel ugly and useless. Keep up the good work, and let your wife know how lucky she really is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband doesn't always make outright compliments. He'll say something like "Why are you so pretty?" or "What is it about you that make me love you so much?" But I always get straightforward, sincere compliments after dinner! On average, I'd say he compliments me about 5 or 6 times a day.

Well my boyfriend compliments me about 3 or 4 times a day. That is when we talk.

my husband of twwenty years tells me on the average of two to four time a day something nice. From my cooking to the way I have handled a situation with one of our children. Sometimes he will say I look nice, or smell nice, or that he just thinks I have done something specially nice in the home, but he ALWAYS tells me a few nice words a day. AND, before he leaves, every day, he says he loves me, and that is in case we never see each other again. OUR little code with each other and that is why we never leave each other or sleep angry with each other cause we could never forgive ouselves if we lost one another with un-resolved issues...

Mine does it 1 x to 2x a day and it's a sincere compliment. So, I'd rather have a sincere compliment, even though it's not so often than a bunch of compliments that's nothing but fluff. lol

~0~ times a day. That hurts soooo much too. Like when I get dressed up all I'd like to hear is a "You look so beautiful or so pretty or even nice." I compliment him all the time. It just hurts so much. Even on our wedding day my one dream was just for the man I married to cry when he saw me walk down that aisle or maybe not cry but just tell me "You are so beautiful."

Wow, I only get one a day, maybe every second day. If you're normal I am really missing out!! Good on you, keep it up, that's awesome that you make your wife feel so special.
