Unless your boyfriend is the one depressing you, how is breaking up with your boyfriend going to help you? If not, it'll make you more depressed AND you'll end up hurting him, too, if there isn't a reason to break up.

What is depressing you? Your boyfriend? Job? Just overall unsettled? If you have a personal physician, it would not hurt to pay them a visit. If there is something going on that is bugging you, look to turn it in a positive direction, or get away from it. That could be your job or your boyfriend. The only thing holding you back is you. Otherwise, if there seems to be no root for the depression, find something you like to do and do it. If you are an artist, do artist things. Plant something and watch it grow. Visit a greenhouse, look at the flowers. Get your boyfriend involved...he may enjoy something different also. But please don't just sit and be unhappy. I hope you find a solution soon!

When I am depressed, I like to ask questions in the right category. For instance, I wouldn't ask a question about depression in the skin and body category.

In any event, go to the doctor if it's that bad.

Do something nice for yourself, something that makes YOU feel good!
A quick visit to a tanning salon, really helps alleviate depression.
Also, fake smiling, yes by yourself, somehow tricks your brain into thinking u r happy. Try it, it works after a day or two!
