Actually, I started to blossom in the physical sense right around the time you are, now. In the sense of my personality and feeling more comfortable in my skin...not until I went to college. But you can't base what happens for you with what happens for others. Everyone develops (in many ways) at different times. You don't sound shallow or pretentious, It's good to care about your personal appearance, so long as it's not at the cost of your inner self. You can be careful of how you look, as long as you are kind, compassionate and take care of your education. If you have all of those things, you will go so, so far! Best of luck!

Why would you want to take a serious interest in studying and paying attention in school when you can look at yourself in the mirror all the live long day. Leave the careers and the high salaries to the nice ugly girls with brains and moxy - like me. Don't worry your pretty little head about it. When you get a little older and you're left wondering where your waistline and your "baby-daddy" went just remember I told you so. Do I win best answer?

During the teen years, our bodies change significantly and it is hard to believe sometimes when we look at ourselves in the mirror and see all the changes. Remember, beauty comes from the inside.

sounds like a typical women bowing to mens propaganda that u arent pretty unless they say so. you need to look inside urself and like yourself for who u are and stop trying to be what somone else thinks is pretty or sexy or whatever u wanna call it. If u are ok with yourself there is no need to concern urself with what others define as pretty or " good looks"

Yeah. I think that's really common. Dont' worry, embrace the good looks! Just, dont' let your personality go away because of it. Looks really only last so long. But, enjoy it!
