He is still very good player. He is just not performing because of so much pressure. He is as good as Sachin, but Sachin knows that even if he does not perform, there won't be any problem to his place in the team. No one can even touch his place.
If so may chances can be given to Sachin and Sehwag, why not to Ganguly? Remember, he was one of Indian team's Batting Piller along with Sachin n Dravid. Now is a victim of Politics of Sachin n Dravid.
No one should doubt on a player with 10,000 Runs.. If he could do it in the past, he is very much capable of doing so now also :)

After he was dropped from Indian Team, he has not at all performed either with the bat or ball deserving a place in Indian squad. Look at his performance in the Challenger Trophy which was an ideal platform for him to show his worth and earn a place in the Indian Team. However, he failed miserably in both the matches where he scored only 24 runs and 3 runs respectively.
How can one support the inclusion of such a player in the Indian Team

He is a world class batsman everyone knows. He is worthy for any country.
Hope, he play well in domestic level and come back in Indian cricket before World Cup.
Gangully has get a positive point, his experience. If he play well just before World Cup then selector can chose him in the team for his experience.

I think you are upset with his yesterday's performance because of which you are asking this question. Does he really need to prove his ability?What about his records? He is very fine player and his bad performance in the last match is the gift from that Chapal the slipper. What he needs is, to breath in fresh air but this slipper has polluted the whole environment.

i think ganguly is very impatient and overjoyed person...and can be the opposite of it sometime that makes indian team in trouble....otherwise his way of playing is very nice...

yeah definetly. he isd good. he plays well wth tendulkar. i like him. I think he should b brouhght to give this indian team some consistency in batting, Because we are so unpredicatble Once sachin is out, the batting colapses and Dhoni and sehwag are way too explosive. Dravid can't b explosive.

not really since sachi hasn't been the captain they haven't been that good. Ganguly isn't that good and gets out preety fast you know.

he is certainly worth playing for any team...and he is easily the best captain in indian cricket...the real concern should be that : Is chapel worth indian cricket?
