...do you feel bulletproof?

Please do not take this literally (as so many have). When I mean bullet proof, I mean, how you are more assertive and not afraid of anyone or anything because something gave you a level of confidence....like alcohol. But think of some time when it wasn't booze that gave you the confidence.

I have more confidence depending on who I'm with and where I am. Alcohol, of course, makes me fearless, but without alcohol, when I have a trusted friend with me, I tend to have more courage. If I am in a place where I feel safe, I tend to have more confidence. When I am in my "element" I tend to feel safe. For instance, when me and my best friend go out on the town, I own the room. Nothing shakes me, nothing embarrasses me. I can say or do anything. We also have an event coming up on Friday, and although there is alcohol involved, everyone else is a little drunker than me, so I tend to have a lot of courage.

I do NOT feel bulletproof. Bullets can kill me. Words can really hurt me. Alcohol is not the answer to ANY question,that's one thing I know. Life is real. This is not a dress rehersal. My life is precious to me. Without the alcohol,you are left without a hazy,unrealistic view of the world. And that is a GOOD thing.

I am absolutely convinced that, at the moment I kiss my girlfriend, you could shoot me without me even flinching. I've no interest in this being tested though, I don't want to go anywhere if it's without her and I don't want her to die.

you're not bulletproof so to let alcohol make you feel that way is nothing but self-destructive....don't drink
