From what he tells me he's just sick with curiosity over what his classmates' bodies look like. I really don't see why he should be kept in the dark on this but I also don't see what I can do for him. "Maybe when you're an adult you'll have a girlfriend who shows you" is a pretty lame consolation.

my younger brother is about the same age as your son so my mum had to deal with this problem recently.., what did she do? you may ask.., she got my boyfriend to bring around some soft porn. Now when i say soft porn i mean no penetration or anything like that, just naked girls or half naked girls in a movie or magazine that cured the curiosity problem. hope you get is sorted!

Oh hun, that is a typical 14 year old boy.He will be curious, and honestly there IS something you can do.Educate him.I do not mean show him your body,i dont mean show him pornography, what i mean is educate him about his body.Explain to him that it is normal to be curious.Explain to him that it is also normal to have urges. How he deals with them is another thing. You cannot stop your son from "experimenting",but you can educate him enough for him to know how to make the right decision and if he does choose to do so,that he is educated enough to protect himself.Lets face it,as a parent you do not want your child to engage in that type of activity, which i cannot say i disagree but truely,in reality you cannot force your child not to experiment. You can however, give him information before he asks his peers about it and gets inaccurate information.I think right now would be a good time for you to speak to him about sexual intercourse.Do not force him to listen or to talk, but allow him to lead you in this conversation.Allow him to ask questions and open up and answer him accurately.Dont try to scare him away from it,or sugarcoat it either.Tell him accurately, the possibilities, consequences, and risks that come with having intercourse.Tell him how to protect himself. If you allow him to open up to you now, without you "freaking out" then he will know he can open up to you throughout his teen years. You more than likely will be shocked by some of the things he asks and was curious about, but dont show it and answer it accurately. That way you know he is getting information from you and not from those who tell him inaccurate information.Good luck.
P.S. He may be more comfortable speaking with his father or a trusted male figure. If he is comfortable speaking with you, then you can educate him.

the fact is:

nearly EVERY teenage guy on this planet is a PERV. We all want to see what girls look like naked, and ESPECIALLY at that age, as the hormones are really kicking in.

If you dont want him to get in a confrontation with a girl, I would suggest somehow having him "find out" about p*rnsites, or leave an informal book around. Its better than trying to do it in real life, trust me.

What can you do because you have a normal, healthy 14-yr-old? Just talk to him, or have his father talk to him, if that's possible. He will find out all about the opposite sex but right now has a natural curiosity. You can explain things correctly, or you can let him learn from his friends.

You don't have to do anything. Just let him be a 14-year-old boy. It'll all work out just fine in the end.
