Philip Larkin wrote a poem which says:
They fu*k you up, your mum and dad
They may not mean to, but they do.
I'm guessing you're a teenager which makes things even more difficult because you're at a stage when it's very easy to get depressed and think that the whole world is against you. I don't think ending it all is a wise option - if the religious people are correct, your problems would be just beginning! Giving up is a terrible option and you never know what the future will bring. Life lasts a very short time, in the grand scheme of things. Death is for eternity, therefore there's no need to rush. Try to do as much as you can and experience as much as you can. Forget the people who put you down; you should try to ensure that you become nothing like them so that there is hope for humanity's future!
By the way, when you said that picture was pathetic, I thought it would be because you had a comb-over hairstyle, or had "Spice Girls Forever" tattooed on your arm - your picture was a great relief!

if you look closely the gender is unmistakable. But that's by the by.
What your parents see is irrelevant, for now. It's also almost certainly not what you think it is. That, also, is incidental.
What do you see? What do you want to see? I guarantee that there is one picture of you that you cannot possibly draw and that is future you. I suggest you try it - draw that picture again, but for five, and ten, years into the future. Then stick the pictures in a dark corner and forget about them. Five or ten years later you will be astonished by how utterly wrong you were.
That's why you can go on living: because you are not just an entity, you are a process. What is happening now is that you are ceasing to be a process enacted by others, and becoming one enacted by yourself. When you swap drivers at speed, the car wobbles a bit, but so what. What matters is what happens when you truly get control. You don't have it fully yet, but in about ten years, you will. That's quick enough.
You're a lot better at drawing than I am [sour grapes!]

“The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering.” - Ben Okri
I don't think any self-portrait can be accurate, other cannot see us as we see ourselves and we cannot show ourselves as we wish to be seen. Your parents probably hate the way you dress, I know mine do (well actually my mother's fine with most of my clothes it's my dad who complains all the f*cking time).
It would be cool if your head was that big - you could be like that guy on "The Hills Have Eyes".
Anyway as Oscar Wilde said "Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months." so just wear what you want as it's hard work to look normal all the time.
I like to think my body is just a shell. Although that makes my soul a slimy snail... probably accurate.
As for going on living... yeah why not? Do you really think your suffering should be cut short?

Looks are nothing. Your life will depend on how you approach it. First of all don't call yourself pathetic, secondly be confident. The world is made up of many different types of people. You have been dealt your set of cards, all you can do is play them! But play them to the best of your ability. Don't be frightened by what people might say about you, just do your thing! Wake up tomorrow and live!

your out look on life seems to be pathetic, but not you. try and remember that you don't have it as bad as you think you do. there are people out there going through similar and more trying things. for example my uncle is dying and he is trying to live life to the fullest. he isn't wallowing away in misery.dying is no laughing matter. an old friend of my died of leukemia the same thing my uncle has. you should be happy that you are alive.
