0044 is the country code for UK and 0700 numbers are 'follow me' non geographic numbers (the leading zero is dropped when using the country code)

Just that fact would make me a little suspicious. It probably means that they do not have a fixed office which would be odd for a transport company of any size!

If you have the name and address of the company, you could check that they exist by looking them up in Yell.com but that won't tell you how reputable they are.

This has a bad feel about it "Trans International" sound made up and the number is non-geographical. I think they will transport your bike but maybe not where you want it!!!

You do not really need a specialist firm to transport a motor bike just a good packing firm and reputable shipping company,, there are many that you could walk into an office and negioate a good price with.

Check with a better business bureau. Call an operator in the Uk to see if they are legit. Look online to see if a website exists. But be very very careful. A lot of scams have originated in the UK. Sometimes it is from a Nigeria scam using a UK cell phone number.
Beware beware beware!!!!
good luck........ and dont do a thing unless you are absolutely sure that this company is who they say they are.

I've never heard of a proper company using an 0700 number.. they're normally 0800 or 0870.. in fact I've never seen ANYONE use an 0700 except these scams where you call up and are automatically charged £50 per minute...
Beware!
