I don't want to put on a better muffler, or one that makes more noise like what all the kids like today. My 1995 Ford wagon needs to get it replaced, and I would like to know if I can do it myself because I'm cheap.
Difficulty: Not very car savvy.

replacing a muffler is not very hard, but you need the right tools to replace. if the muffler is old and rusty you have to cut the muffler off with a torch. if the exhaust is cheap you may need a expander to make the muffler fit the pipe.

good luck
