Also, is it OK to wear a mini to class (university), or would that make me look like a bimbo? I'm 28 and a size 0-2, so weight isn't really an issue; I just don't know if it will make me look like a 14-year-old with a 28-year-old face. Would that be weird? What about a miniskirt with tights and knee-high boots?

For me, the age "in which woman shouldn't be too fasionable and should go for more calm and subtle" is the forties but that is just my opinion. If you walk arround in jeans and a nice shirt, someone would say you are "plain". Another person might say you look "nice". If you walk arround in a tank with sparkly materials, someone would say it's ugly. Another would praise your tastes. If you like short skirts go for it. You're the boss.

Girl, if you have to ask the question, the answer is 'no, you shouldn't' ...kidding!

Seriously, though, I guess it really depends on what look you're going for. 28's not really that old...

If you want to be considered more sophisticated, or if you're talking about what you should wear to work, I'd say the mini is out.

I guess it depends on where you're going--if you're going out to a club (do 28-year-olds still do that???) or a party, as long as it FITS you, you should be okay. Class would be fine, too...

The worst thing that anyone can do, fashion-wise, is to squeeze themselves into something that's too small. People tend to forget that the only person who will know the size of the clothes you're wearing is you...and whoever sees your clothes when you're not wearing them...but I digress.

Sounds like that's not a problem for you...

You're only as old as you feel. If you can still rock a miniskirt, no matter what age, GO FOR IT!! I know I would. I'm 33 and still very slim. I look great in a miniskirt and I wear them proudly!

When her legs get to looking real bad. Like the veins and all. I'm 34 and I look good and I'm wearing whatever I want too. Everything can be wore in a classy way. There is no age limit just the way you wear it.

I would say mid 30's is the cut off for mini skirts. I guess wearing a mini to class would be ok but I think you would be making yourself seem younger than you are. Also it may make people not take you seriously.

since you're 28 you'd look more "age appropriate" in a knee length skirt.Mini,knee-high boots,it all screams 14 year old hootchie.Trust me i'm almost 16 and I see it daily.
