Why doesn't my cat have an animality?

Hey, I'm not being daft. I admit I was being impish when I asked it and since I always ask serious things I went for it. But, since an animal is not a person, why should its way of behaviour be called 'person'-ality? Maybe I should have asked this in the language category?

(Smiles.) That is cute. I think your cat probably already has animal magnetism, which is part of the unique personality of cats.

It's a cat, who knows.
Maybe it has a personality because in a past life it was a person that liked cats. But then it decided to eat the cats and burn them and other horrible things of that nature, and so karma turned that person into a cat so that they can see why they shouldn't have done those terrible, ghastly things.
Or maybe not. You just can't tell!

I'm glad you count a cat as an animal rather than a beast...
