I want this disk to start any PC and return to an a: prompt.

Anytime you boot up from a floppy, it will automatically boot to the a:\ drive. You do have to change the boot sequence order in your BIOS before booting up with it first...

Power up the PC,
Press either F1, F2, or Esc - whatever works for your PC - to enter BIOS Setup.
Then choose the Boot tab.
Choose Floppy as the 1st boot
Pur floppy in the drive.
Press F10 to save & exit.
Bootup will begin...

1.put ur boot disket in fdd .
now enter in to my computer in there right click 31/2 disk in there properties in there u have a tab called tools in that tab click back up now press yes n u can get a boot disk .
2.enter in to dos prompt by typing cmd in run in there change c:/toA: and type copy disk

Go to start, my computer highlight your A: rt click and choose format with system. You need to make sure that your PC will boot starting with the A: also in the system setup.

I created a boot disk with nero. Just right click on the file and "open with" nero burning rom
