I am looking for as much info on collinson rocking horse makers of liverpool- especially the 1920 'pink' horse

I have just sent an old horse away to be restored and the restorer thinks it may be one. it was pink when I got it 30 years ago and I got it from a family in Liverpool they had also had it passed on to them from another family. I would just like to find out as much as possable. It is for my children now and I would like to be able to pass on as much history as poss when the y are older. Many thanks, Amanda

I would try the websites of television programmes such as Antiques Roadshow, Flog it or Cash in the Attic. They often have information about manufacturers.
