I had a little boy in it, the setting was often a beach- and there was a little "thing"-guy that had seaweed draped over his whole body-Sort of looked the shape of a Pac-Man Ghost but seaweed.
I am pretty sure it was a Saturday morning show. Also not a cartoon.
I have asked friends etc- they all look at me like I have lost my mind. I hope someone here remembers the name of the show!!

Is that the show where they answered the telephone by saying shello instead of hello? I remember the show but I can't think of the name. Had some sort of nautical term in the title. I think. Sorry.

Jonny Whitaker (Jody from Family Affair) was the boy on the show, although he was either in his late teens, or early twenties.
