They are small and get scractches easily if you do no get a case for it. Nanos are also easy to lose. I lost mine for 2 months, and I still can not find it. They cost $200, if you have to pay for it yourself, that would suck. They do not carry much memory so you will not be able to carry too many songs and pic. Nanos also will not allow you to get videos and you can't listen to the radio.

The charge stays for sooooo short time. The screen is too small. U cant delete or edit song informations and images, u cant even zoom images. It says 4gb but it is 3.73 gb what's very bad.
If i'd knew these things before, i'd never buy iPod nano. There are a lots of mp3 players from famous and good brands like creative and samsung. I bet they have better features. At least the charge stays more then 10 hours.
But it has been a youth icon. So everybody likes it for no reason actually and still people are having it.

I think if you have a large music collection, it the size of the hard drive will be a drawback. You'll want a regular (Video) Ipod if your music collection is over 1000 songs.

nothing relly... i love mine i just got it on saturday and it's completely fine. My brother has his for like over a year and the battery is perfectly fine.

the battery life, no videos, screen can be damaged easy if not careful, thats about it
