Let me make one thing perfectly clear,,,Foley was impersonating a child molestor, not actually one. His duties as a Congresman are directly related to cracking down on internet predators, what better way to understand them . than to actually be one\?

He is now pretending to be an alchoholic to study the care they are given . The republican party needs more people like Foley !!

Foley's a creep. I hope he gets the book tossed at him.

But you might want to ask the question why the media AND the Democrats who acknowledge knowing about this for well over a year, yet waited until now to release it. If THEY are so interested in protecting the children, why did THEY sit on the story until just before the Congressional elections instead of breaking it IMMEDIATELY to keep Foley from preying on anyone else.

Both sides of the political aisle...and the media...all need to be held accountable. No one is clean in this story.

No way. These people already think they are above the law. They use their positions for personal gain as it is- if we only knew the half of it. Child molesters need to be carefully monitored. It makes my skin crawl to think of any innocent minor being put at risk by having that kind of predator on the loose. I am sorry for all the evil in the world, and for someone having lived through that, only to do it to others later in life. But you get help. I have no sympathy for someone who just gives in to those kinds of desires. Get him out, along with all the others who arrogantly continue to misuse their good fortune. That's what is wrong with our government as it is- overlooking corruption for political reasons. Have some integrity. Please.

this is clearly a GOP issue,, exploited sexual behavior is part of their MO,,, if Americas children can not be safe in church, school or the halls of congress,, where can they be safe,, do we really know anybody unless we have warrant-less wire-taping in every home,, cameras in every home,,, deviant behavior is not alcoholism,,, Mark Foley is creepy, and most likely a pedophile,, some alcoholics don't ever have sex,, their too drunk,,, sexually exploiting children is a serious crime,, hiding in the the drunk tank is hypocrisy,,, not reporting a crime which is what Dennis Hastert is guilty of,, is also a crime,, being Gay is not a crime,, I have heard nothing but excuses from the Republican party

It appears to be. The retardlican spin is already working it around in their favor. POOR FOLEY, he wasn't responsible for his actions he was molested by a priest. YEAH RIGHT. Where's the "ANGER" from the Catholics now? How come they are not saying DON"T USE US AS AN EXCUSE!

First of all, this is not a GOP issue. It is an issue regarding one person.

Second of all, the age of consent in D.C. is 16. Thank the liberal lawmakers on the local congress for that.

As a republican and Catholic all my observations are definitely forget the kid just transfer the priest or tell pages stay away. Never do the right thing. I guess that goes for democrats too.

No, but just watch, a Democrat will be "outed" doing something in the next few days to weeks.

Corruption, immorality and slander are equally common in both parties.
