not all of it is fake. if u go to wikipedia and look at a page called blading, they tell u how the blood is real. How do u think cena fu's edge if it's fake, how do u think they hit eachother with chairs if it's fake, hey, the aatomic leg drop is definetly real. Non-fans just dont know what wrestling is. Pure entertainment. If you ask me, I think wrestling is pretty much a soap opera.

Not all people who hate wrestling hate it because it's fake. Some dimply don't like anything violent, real or not. It just depends on a person's tastes in entertainment.

This is exactly the point that I have made on many occasions. Many movies even have simulated sporting events, but people don't feel the urge to tell you it's fake every two seconds. I think it roots in the misunderstanding that many non-fans have. They think modern promoters are still trying to make people believe it is real. Believe it or not, there are still many wrestling marks who will argue that it is real. These are the people that give a bad name to the industry, and the general fan who understands that it is a scripted, simulated sporting event.
The short answer, though, is that people want to feel superior to others, and by looking down upon those who watch wrestling as stupid marks who think it's all real, they can feel better about themselves and return to their mindnumbing "reality" TV shows.

we hate wrestling because they say it's real, but it's fake. Its not even entertaining to watch. Everything is so scripted, yet many idiots in the crowd are acting like it's really happening.

But I prefer watching wrestling than boxing right because it's fake.

I don't hate wrestling I'm just tired of the same person being the champ all the time. No I don't think you should hate movies the same person doesn't plat the same character in the same movie all the time.

I don't hate, it just don't get it. I loved wrestling when I was a kid and thought Hulk Hogan was the greatest thing in the world, but I grew out of it.

i for one never understood what the point was. i guess you could see it like watching a movie, but when two people who are competing in a wrestling match know before even entering who will win, that just takes all the fun out of it for me...not to mention they just look to me like big kids who haven't grown up yet. but I'm a girl so I think that doesn't help anything.

95% of TV is fake! All cartoons, Soaps, and dawn near everythiny on TV is fake! That's what make then so good.
