WENT TO HOSPITAL 2 DAYS AGO FOR VAGINAL BLEEDING FOR 14 DAYS, AFTER 4 POSITIVE PREGNANCY TESTS. DOCTORS COMPLETED PREGNANCY TESTS ALL POSITIVE AND BLOOD AND HORMONE TESTS. THE DOCTOR RULED OUT ANY HEALTH CONDITIONS BY DOING ADDITIONAL BLOODWORK. VAGINAL AND EXTERNAL SONOGRAMS REVEALED NO PREGNANCY CERVIX EMPTY. THE DOCTOR EXPLAINED THAT I AM PREGNANT AND THEIR MAY HAVE BEEN A MISCARRIAGE OR THE FETUS IS GROWING IN MY TUBE, ABDOMEN, OR CERVIX. THE BLEEDING IS CONTINUING AND HAS TURNED DARK BROWN WHEN BEFORE IT WAS BRIGHT RED. HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO FOLLOW UP HORMONE LEVEL TESTS.
HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS?

I had an ectopic pregnancy, If it were an ectopic pregnancy, believe me you'd know, it is extreamly painful. You may of had a miscarriage and still testing positive on pregnancy test because you still have the HGC hormone in your body. The dark blood is old blood like the blood from the last days of a period. Its natures way of getting rid of a pregnancy that was not developing normal. NOthing you did. Sometimes women are pregnant and dont even know it until they have a miscarriage. I hope everything goes well for you.

Sounds like a miscarriage. I had one before I became pregnant with this baby. All my tests came back positive, but they said I was too early in the pregnancy to see anything with an ultrasound. My doctor said it happens more times than we know that women miscarry during very early pregnancy and they just pass it off as a heavy or late period. Which is pretty much what it was like, it was a week after my normal period and it was heavier than usual. Toward the end of the bleeding it was brownish which means that it was old blood and no longer oxygenated. I got pregnant almost immediately afterward and I'm now at 27wks.

So it's possible that you had a very early term miscarriage which would be why they didn't see anything on the US. There's nothing you did wrong, and there's nothing you could have done to prevent it. It's typically a chromosomal thing and it's nature's way of saying "This won't work, we need to start over." An early miscarriage usually won't affect your ability to become pregnant again unless for some reason you start hemorrhaging or scar tissue builds up. But since I'm pretty sure it was a before 5 weeks miscarriage I'm sure you'll be fine. You've said the blood is already starting to turn brown which means that it's coming to an end. If it were an ectopic pregnancy you'd typically feel a lot of pain and pressure on one side of your abdomen as the fetus grows in the tube. I hope some of that helped. Good luck!! =)

I have had both. It could have been a miscarriage. If so, then the hormone levels should be going down with your next tests. If they are in fear of an ectopic they should be getting you in for sonograms to make sure it's not in your tube. If it is and it ruptures you could bleed to death. I had emergency surgery when I was 9 weeks along in my ectopic. I had no pain, only very slowly rising hormone levels and bleeding for about a week. I'm sorry for what you are going through. I truly know how hard it is.

I've heard of females who had effective pregnancies with low hcg phases. However, it does sound such as you had a miscarriage, with the affliction and the clots. But the truth that your hcg phases are going up is a thriller. It is NOT too early to do an ultrasound and in case your health practitioner informed you that, you have to uncover a brand new one. The simplest method they are going to uncover out what is rather happening is to provide you an ultrasound. Best desires.
