just go and talk to him. you just need to make the decision in your mind that you are going to talk to him and not be shy. if he is a decent guy he will appreciate (and probably really like) that you are confident enough to start the conversation. If he is a jerk you will know that you are better off without him. life is far too short to worry about a possible moment of embarrassment. what if it works and you have a lifetime (or even a weeks time) of great happiness. make the first move! you CAN do it.

First of all, when do you see this person??? Is is at school? He is in sports, are you in sports? Try to have a reason to talk to him, maybe about the big game or about a homework assignment. I think if you have something to talk about, it won't make the conversation awkward and you won't be totally obvious that you like him. GOOD LUCK!!!

i may be a guy but i know that asking a question to a lady works. i have my wife of 40 yrs but when i was dating that what i did. talk about the weather ask him were he got his tie because you like to get on for your dad. do you work with him ask him about work. bring cookies to work and start passing them out when you see him and make sure you give him one. ask him what kind of other cookies he likes. can do that with donuts too. put a piece of tap on your rear end and when you see him ask him to help get it off. and then when he does ask him for coffee as a thank you. i could keep going but you get the idea open you mouth and talk to him. there are 100 and one ways to do it. help with the march of dimes and ask him to put something in the Kittie.

Just be yourself, try to be confident. Try to come up with some things you can say that you are comfortable with and that are easy to answer. Most guys love it when girls come up and talk to them. I should know because im a guy.

Front up to him really closely and calmly announce, "I start fires." Then start burning a few of his personal effects (simple things; books, garments, pets, etc) and leave them for him to find.
