My friend who I have been friends with for about 3 years has become very mean and rude. She is starting to become violent to. She is always hitting kicking pinching.. ect. for no reason. She has a great life but is very mean and i just can't figure out why. Everyone is fed up with her. What do we do??

I'm supposing there will be a reason why she is suddenly acting out like that and you should maybe wait until shes in a calm mood and you're on your own and ask her if anything has been happening to upset her. If she dismisses you asking, you could maybe bring up the fact that although you care for her a lot her behaviour isn't very nice and you want to know why she's suddenly started being so aggressive.
If she doesn't want to talk to you just yet then tell her thats fine but you're there if she needs to talk.
Either way though you need to make it clear to her that her behaviour isn't right, but I wouldn't do this infront of your other friends because she may get embarrassed and lash out.
At the end of the day, if she continues to act horribly and you feel you've tried to help her and understand her sudden change in attitude then don't feel like you have to put up with it.
Its not worth being treated badly over.
Hope it all works out!

Ummm first of all try and talk to her. Something might be going on that you have no clue about and her way of dealing with it might be putting up a tough front and in turn acting mean and rude. If it's really out of character you should try and talk to her first, you did say you've been friends for 3 years. So just try and see what she says.
If she acts like she doesn't know what you're talking about...maybe she just started being friends with another crowd and they're influencing her to act this way. so as a friend you yourself need to decide if you'd rather stick around and continue being friends with her or if you just go your separate ways.

But try and talk with her first...just because her life seems perfect from the outside doesn't mean it really is.

start by saying: "i don't like the way you do... etc. that kind of stuff is really rude and mean. can you please stop doing that stuff on me?
tell her how you feel about her violence and just tell her that you don't like it and she needs to stop.(don't tell her in a mean way) and then ask her if there is anything wrong at her house or ask her if that there is anything wrong that she can trust u and she can talk to you. don't ditch her though.
