Well, class-ism doesn't exist as an idea...its a side-effect of Mass Capitalism.
However, as im British and face Class distinctions every day, its glaringly obvious America has ALWAYS been class driven...however, ebcause the majority of the poor working class tend to be either immigrants of Black, its classed as Racial and left at that

Don't believe America fits in those two categories. However; I do see some type of resemblance to a Tyrannical approach from the Bush Administration; particularly with the House voting to give the Executive Office, power outside the scope of what the Founding Fathers of the US Constitution established as: "Checks and Balances". We at first hand, are experiencing what it's will be like; if the three branches of government don't retain their ability to validate the veracity of the Constitution; and not that of Machiavellians.

Far from socailism more to classism. Its always been about class.
