I think they are fine and seriously thought about - you can always tell how good the documentaries by the degree of snarling and pettyness of the British right-wing press.

Considering Channel Four used to be a down-trodden junk channel, they've really pulled their socks up and not only air decent shows but many thought-provoking documentaries that leave you pondering the questions raised long after the credits up gone up.
The BBC and ITV should be taking notes.

quite good but I tend to watch UK TV documentary channel if I want to watch a documentary

channel 4 do amazing documentaries. god bless them for it too- because the other channels are mostly bloody awful at it.

They are very good. I think they try to be over provocative in the marketing but when you watch them you realise how well researched and well made they are. More people should watch them, instead of x factor.
