i want to convert it to a 90's EFI. swapping the engine and tranny is no problem but i'd like to find some info from people who have done similar conversions and any problems and solutions they encountered regarding the computer and the EFI

you need both the motor and inside wiring harnesses. and a whole lot of knowledge about wiring.

If you are going to use the Ford EEC IV system it will be a pain. We originally did it before the Fuel Injection was standard. It was a real pain in the back side fitting everything into place. You will need some fabrication skills, lots of electrical knowledge, and time. Good luck. By the way, get the electrical manual for the system you are going to use and the truck you are putting it into. That way you can see all the electrical modifications for relays, fuel system, etc...

use a fast system or go to a cheaper holley pro jection system.
