Theodore Long is a better GM than Johnathan Coachman is now and Eric Bishoff were ever. He makes great matches right in the thick of the plot and well he reasons with everybody.

He's a better GM than he is a referee & his no-nonsense style makes him an effective one at that.

Theodore R. Long may actually have been a better manager. In the late 80's and early 90's, he led Doom (Ron Simmons and Butch Reed) to several tag team championships in WCW. Teddy Long always served as an entertaining and animated ringside presence, and I believe he reprised the role for a brief period in WWE earlier this year.

I encourage you to look further in to his career. Many of the wrestling stars we enjoy watching today have intriguing backgrounds that allow us to appreciate their present-day contributions to the business.
