On September 26, 2006, the couple's newborn child, Victoria Anne Simmons, was pronounced dead shortly after her birth.
Joseph Simmons was present at a Ridgewood, New Jersey hospital on September 26 for the child's anticipated delivery. The pregnancy was initially made public via MTV.
A Caesarean section was performed on Justine Simmons to deliver the child, but the baby girl was reportedly born with organs on the outside of her body, which may be a case of omphalocele or gastroschisis.[2] The baby died shortly after being delivered.

I wonder why they didn't catch that on an ultrasound... obviously for the organs to develop on the outside, it'd have to start developing there from the beginning. You'd think they would have caught it before the baby was actually delivered

Yes, this is very sad. Apparently cameras from his reality show were there. Obviously this will not be shown, but it is very sad.
