I'll take a wild guess that you mean "liar". The best liar in the world? I wouldn't know. I'm thinking he or she would be so good at lying that a schlep like me wouldn't be able to detect the lie. If you're talking about a pathological, non-stop, can't help himself, let's tell humongous whoppers that get lots of people killed kind of liar....I'd have to go with G.W. Bush.

I think rating the number one liar would depend on how it is scored. It matters whether you're talking quantity of people lied to, or quantity of lies, and whether you count the same one told repeatedly. Do we only consider those with some minimal degree of believability, or does it only matter that they tell lies?
I just think it's too hard without knowing more details about the criteria.
Of course, I do have a candidate for the #1 Lie.
The phrase "reality television."
